English for Boarding School (Summer EAL Programme)
2 week: August 3rd - 14th
3 week: August 3rd - 21st
A practical English course focused on listening and speaking, built around the everyday vocabulary your child will need from the first day at boarding school: lessons, boarding houses, sport, meals, and making friends.
A Level transition
August 3rd - 14th
Two-week subject courses that bridge the gap between school at home and A-Level study in the UK. Each subject has two 90-minute live group sessions per week, timetabled so that subjects can be combined. Students take one, two, or three subjects.

Some of our mentors
Sarah
An EAL and academic English specialist with over 20 years across UK independent and international schools. Sarah structures her teaching around CEFR levels, building oracy, academic vocabulary and grammatical accuracy, and prepares students for IELTS and Cambridge English. A Cambridge English examiner, she is highly experienced in intensive summer and holiday English programmes, helping students arrive at their new school ready to learn from the first day.
Rachel
A primary and pre-prep specialist with over 20 years supporting young multilingual learners in UK and international schools. Rachel builds early literacy, phonics, vocabulary and speaking confidence, and integrates language development into every subject so younger children can access the full curriculum. Her calm, structured approach suits pupils taking their first confident steps in English over the summer.
James
James combines EAL teaching with preparation for UK school entry, supporting comprehension, creative writing and verbal reasoning alongside ISEB pre-test and Common Entrance English. Multilingual, he draws on Mandarin, French, German and Arabic to support learners in their first language where it helps, and has worked with families across China, the Middle East and Europe. He also delivers academic English and IELTS for older students.
