TUTORING & TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
I am currently teaching Economics A level and Business A level in Rutland. Previously, I was Head of Sixth Form at Abingdon School and Head of Economics at Radley College, where I also assisted in the running of E Social boarding house. Before that, I was Head of Economics and Business at The School of St Helen and St Katharine. I graduated with a First Class BA in Economics in 1997.
I have written resources for both subjects for commercial publication for over 20 years and have an extensive wealth of materials to support a wide range of learning styles. Additionally, I have been part of the Tutor2U team for 20 years, delivering national revision workshops across the UK and internationally.
I have been tutoring for over two decades, both in person and online. I tutor Economics and Business at A level, GCSE, and for Oxbridge preparation, working with students both in the UK and internationally. I have also delivered intensive Easter revision courses and am highly experienced in providing focused, high-output sessions within limited timeframes. I tailor my sessions carefully to the individual needs of each tutee, placing equal emphasis on examination skills and subject content. My feedback is consistently constructive, clear, and designed to help students progress effectively.
EXTRA-ACADEMIC INTERESTS:
I am an outdoors enthusiast and own six dogs, so much of my free time is spent walking in the countryside. I am also passionate about gardening and have a keen interest in canine health and welfare.
