SUBJECTS TAUGHT:
All subjects across Key Stages 1 and 2 with specialism in English Reading and Grammar.

11+ and CEM examination preparation.

TUTORING & TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with over three years of teaching experience at a leading

preparatory school in Oxfordshire, where I currently serve as Head of House, mentor trainee

teachers, and lead the school choir. I specialise in creating engaging, supportive learning

experiences tailored to each student’s unique needs, learning styles, and goals.

With a strong background in both classroom and online teaching, I have worked across five

primary schools and all primary age ranges. I also have experience as a Writing Lead and

Remote Learning Coordinator, which has equipped me to deliver high-quality, interactive online

tutoring sessions.

In addition to my school-based roles, I previously worked as a heritage educator with the Royal

Palaces and the National Museum of Wales, developing and delivering creative sessions for

Key Stages 1–4. Whether supporting core subjects, developing literacy skills, or building

confidence, I aim to help every learner feel valued, motivated, and empowered to succeed.

I graduated from Cardiff University in 2007 with a BScEcon in History and Politics, and an MSc

in Collections Care (Museum Studies).

EXTRA-ACADEMIC INTERESTS:
Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy a range of creative and active pursuits. I'm a keen runner and love staying active whether that’s at the gym or kayaking around the coast. Performing arts, in particular singing, is another passion of mine—I lead the school choir, direct school performances, and love the sense of community and joy it brings. I also enjoy dressmaking and am an avid reader of both children's literature and a wide range of classic fiction and non-fiction texts.
