TUTORING & TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
I am a personable and dedicated qualified secondary school Mathematics teacher, having trained and worked at Dulwich College. I have taught all secondary school classes up to and including A Level. I have also marked the 11+ and 13+ Mathematics entrance exam papers for Dulwich College.

I have a passion for making maths clear, engaging and accessible for all learners. Known for my warm and approachable teaching style, I foster a supportive environment where students feel confident to participate, ask questions and build resilience in their learning.

I have previous experience tutoring students at KS3, KS4 and KS5 and use the same practices for my tutoring students, that I do as a teacher. I am a friendly and approachable tutor who believes that learning happens best when students feel comfortable, supported and unafraid to make mistakes. With a strong belief that every student can succeed in maths, I focus on developing conceptual understanding alongside problem solving skills. My lessons are interactive, inclusive and responsive to students need, helping to build both confidence and competence.

EXTRA-ACADEMIC INTERESTS:
Outside of work I enjoy yoga and exercise. I am passionate about charity work and have run several 5k and 10k races as well as a half marathon in Sierra Leone to help raise over £10,00 for the charity Street Child. I also enjoy cooking and baking yummy desserts. More recently, my time is spent with my 1 and 3 year old, including lots of trips to the park and pizza express (their favourite!)
